Fundraising

We have run fundraising events for many years and see the same issues present themselves over and over. Often these have a significant impact on how much money you raise and also the success of the night. Unfortunately the impact is normally negative. There are simple guidelines we find work. How many prizes to have, what type of prizes. What other activities can you run that raise money but are fun too. You can actually have too many prizes and giveaways in a night. There are some great activities that are more profitable than raffle tickets and far more interesting for your guests. We’re happy to assista nd advise on all this.

How does it work?

A trivia night ideally runs around 2 to 2.5 hours. Players form teams to compete, normally for prizes but equally for ‘bragging’ rights as being the smartest group. Generally we run 6 rounds of 10 questions each, plus other novelty events and games. We’ve now introduced an electronic quiz which changes the format as well. Quite simply, the team with the highest score wins!

Trivia Masters provide a complete package which contains everything required for a successful trivia night. Along with the questions, we have answer sheets, guidelines, bonus games and events and tips for fundraising.

Host

A good host really can make or break a quiz night. You can use someone within your own group and we’ll provide all the required material, but suggest you look at a professional host with all the equipment and experience to make sure your night is as successful as it can be.
